This Code of Conduct outlines the principles guiding our practice.

1. We Respect You

We will treat you with kindness and fairness.

We will respect your culture, beliefs, and choices.
2. We Are Honest

We will only do work we are trained to do.

We will tell you the truth about what we can and cannot do.

We will suggest other helpers if you need extra support.
3. We Keep Your Information Private

We will keep your personal information safe.

We will only share your information if you say it is okay, or if the law says we must.
4. We Ask for Your Permission

We will explain our services to you clearly.

We will only start working with you if you agree.
5. We Keep Learning

We will keep learning so we can give you the best support.
6. We Keep You Safe

We will do everything we can to keep you safe and comfortable.
7. We Follow the Rules

We follow NSW health and safety rules.

We follow rules for people who are not doctors or nurses, like end-of-life doulas.
8. We Are Fair

We will not let personal feelings or money affect how we help you.
9. We Keep Children Safe

If we work with children, we will follow special child safety rules.

We have Working with Children Checks if needed.
10. You Can Give Us Feedback

You can tell us if you are happy or unhappy with our service.

You can also contact the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission if needed.
